Flower Tile Afghan Square

Flower Tile Afghan Square

This is an adventurous square I invented for my sampler blanket:

After a lot of experimenting and help from other crocheters I have finally put together something that resembles a pattern. Enjoy, have fun and ask questions if you need   :)

Finished size:

The sample square shown in this post was made with worsted weight acrylic and 4.5 mm hook. It measures 11x11 in (I crochet VERY loosely, because of my carpal tunnel syndrome)

Input from other crocheters:

  • hook 4.5mm, worsted weight acrylic, 9x9 in square
  • hook 4.5mm, worsted weight cotton, 10x10 in square

These were made with 5.5 mm hook and are generous 12 in squares.

  2. In your 4th picture down, you have this square to the right of another square that has a rope look to it! I was wondering if you have the pattern on here for that one too? It's very cool! I love this square too, but I'd love to try the pattern for the other one too! :) :)
