I wanted to make a sampler using different techniques and at first it was going to be made entirely out of this pattern. But then my printer broke and I wasn't able to print instructions-and I HATE working in front of a computer screen. Then two laptops died one after another!! I had to invent some squares by myself. The three top pictures show my own designs and a pattern for one of them is here.
Now I have some computer access back ( thanks to DD's laptop) and, as the kids are at school, more time for crocheting, I made three new blocks.
This one is called Bee Hives and Clover Afghan Block and the pattern can be found on Ravelry.
Those two are made from this cute pattern.
So I already have 13 squares. 7 more to make and my blanket will be ready to assemble. Ah, well, of course I have to deal with this:
I have to be more careful and take care of those unpleasant loose ends before I call the square an FO :)
Wow, these are really pretty and intricate! They must have taken some time to make. Beautiful!
OdpowiedzUsuńThey look even better here than they did on Ravelry! And that first block is really beautiful. :)
OdpowiedzUsuńThanks!! I love making those squares-they give me a feeling of instant gratification :)
UsuńYour pattern is great-I'm going to make more of them soon.
